Module 1: Cognitive Psychology
This module will teach you the various scientific findings and principles we will be using to strategically boost memory retention and speed of learning. These principles include spaced repetition, the testing effect, chunking, the magic number 7, and state-dependent learning. You'll also learn how to use sleep and exercise to enhance memorization.

Module 2: Mnemonics or The Art of Memory
This module will teach you the basic skills of mnemonic technique that have been taught for thousands of years, and are currently used by memory athletes/champions worldwide. You'll learn what's called the method of loci as well as the link method. These methods use your creative imagination to turn text into useful mnemonic devices.

Module 3: Acting Work and Script Analysis
This module will teach you how to break down a text and analyze it, using common practices such as dividing a text into beats and finding objectives for each beat. These practices are of course designed to help actors perform a role with specificity and authenticity. But I'll show you additionally how to use them to enhance line memorization.

Module 4: How to Memorize a Contemporary Monologue
This module is the first that combines the principles from our three fields of knowledge and puts them into practice. It will teach you the protocol for memorizing a contemporary monologue through a step-by-step practical demonstration.

Module 5: How to Memorize a Contemporary Scene
This module teaches you the protocol for memorizing a contemporary scene. Through a step-by-step demonstration, you'll learn how to adapt the method to working with dialogue and accommodating and incorporating another character's lines.

Module 6: Approaching Shakespeare's Text
This module is a broad introduction to working with Shakespearean text. Before learning how to memorize Shakespeare, you must first learn how to understand, analyze, and utilize Shakespearean verse and language. This presentation will teach you the important fundamentals about blank verse, scansion, rhetorical structures and patterns, imagery, and sound.

Module 7: How to Memorize a Shakespeare Monologue
This module teaches you the protocol for memorizing a Shakespeare monologue. Through a step-by-step demonstration, you will learn how to tackle any Shakespeare speech and take advantage of the unique properties of Shakespearean text to enhance line memorization.

Module 8: How to Memorize a Shakespeare Scene
This module teaches you the protocol for memorizing a Shakespeare scene. Again, there will be a step-by-step demonstration that shows you how to use the method to fully break down and analyze a scene and memorize it.
